Our Process
1 - Initial Meeting
The initial meeting is where you share your vision with us. Together we discuss your budget, style preferences, and photos that inspire you. We will guide you through creating your design brief. 2 - Fee Proposal
Once we've visited your home and discussed your requirements, we'll create a fee proposal that details all the design fees involved in your project (excluding any council or consultant fees). This will give you a clear idea of the costs involved, so you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.
3 - Schematic Design
Schematic plans will be created based on your brief, to ensure that the design aligns with your vision. We aim to help you achieve your dream design, and these plans are just the beginning of that journey. Once you approve the concept plan, we can refine details like window placement and materials to bring your dream design to life.
4 - Plans
Detailed architectural plans based on the approved concept design will be created and refined to include all necessary information for approval. These plans will be provided to your builder and other consultants to begin their work.
5 - Approval Process
We can take care of the application process for you, so you don't have to navigate it yourself. We will prepare and submit the architectural plans and all other required documentation to the Planning Portal for approval. This may include either a Council-approved Development Application or a Certifier-approved Complying Development Application.
